Common Questions

Worship service starts at 7:45 AM and 10:45 AM.
All persons who have joined with Christ Kingdom Church, please contact Minister Sandra Torres at 301-880-3207 for information on upcoming New Members Classes .
Baptism is held on the fourth Sunday of each month. Please bring a dry change of clothing. Baptismal attire is provided. Please register for a baptism class.
The dedication ceremony is held on the 5th Sunday and conducted by the Pastor or an ordained minister assigned by the Pastor. During the dedication, the baby is offered back to God in love and thanksgiving. Prayer is offered for guidance in the stewardship role of parenting. Parents, godparents, family and friends are welcome to participate in the ceremony. All are asked to make a commitment to effective parenting, to raise the child in the knowledge of Christ and to encourage the child to receive Christian training and guidance.
CKC members who need to notify the church of births, impending surgeries, illnesses, hospitalizations and death of CKC members or close relatives of members should call the church office at 301-880-3207. Your information will be forward to Pastor Smith or appropriate church leaders.
The purpose of the membership retention is to ensure that all members, both new and established, will not be overlooked or neglected. This ministry is also designed to aid the Pastor in keeping a watchful eye over the congregation, thus allowing him to give himself continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the Word.
The physical death of a Christian is blessed event. All that is done to comfort those who are mourning the loss of a believer must be done with hope in Christ. When a member or the relative of a member dies, the church will express sympathy and support to that family, based on the procedures and guidelines. Please contact the church at 301-880-3207.
